Over the past 5 years, Richie has spoken in 48 states at over 460 schools with hundreds of thousands of students, educators, and parents. He understands the climate and culture students thrive in and don’t thrive in.
Richie found his first passion, playing football, but he was altered drastically after his parents got divorced and failed 5th grade. He faced anxiety, depression, bullies, and even had suicidal thoughts, but 13 years later turned that dream into reality by earning a full D1 football scholarship at Ole Miss standing a staggering 5’7″ and a hefty 150 pounds. He was able to accomplish this dream because he had one mentor (educator) who believed in him and helped him believe in himself. This mentor helped him create clarity, a plan, and held him accountable to that plan.
Richie then went on to play Arena Football Professionally, wrote a #1 Best Seller, opened a franchising 24/7 functional fitness facility, was featured in the movie “Rudy Ruettiger: The Walk On” and every year he travels the globe working with hundreds of colleges and schools delivering inspiring, entertaining, and actionable keynotes to teach educators how to inspire students and teach students how to overcome adversity, set & achieve goals, build social & emotional skills, and become more resilient.
